The Albert Szent-Györgyi Medical School is the medical faculty of the University of Szeged, a public university in Szeged, southern Hungary. The University of Szeged teaches Medicine in English as a 12-semester, 360-ECTS Doctor of Medicine programme, and its Faculty of Dentistry teaches a 10-semester, 300-ECTS Dental Medicine programme in English.

The roots go back a long way. The university traces its history to Kolozsvár (today Cluj-Napoca), where a medical-surgical faculty was set up in 1775. The institution moved to Szeged in 1921. In 1951 the medical faculty became an independent Medical University of Szeged, took the name of its former biochemistry professor Albert Szent-Györgyi in 1987 and rejoined the University of Szeged in 2000.
