You need a qualifying NEET score and a secondary school certificate with physics, chemistry and biology. Seats for NRI and foreign nationals are allocated through the counselling process of the respective university or state.

Indian medical colleges are regulated by the National Medical Commission (NMC), and the MBBS is the regular medical qualification for registration in India. The colleges are listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools, so graduates can also take international routes such as the USMLE or the PLAB.
