Press Release: Official Partnership Between Medschool Experts and the University of Niš

What has been agreed?

Medschool Experts is an official partner agency of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Niš. The placement covers the English-taught human medicine programme, which has a standard duration of six years.

What sets this location apart

The annual fee is €6,000 and can also be paid quarterly — a payment arrangement offered at very few locations, and one that makes financing far easier for many families to plan.

The faculty is part of a large university hospital with a broad range of clinical cases. It is listed with the UK General Medical Council, which means graduates also have a route into the United Kingdom.

The city

Niš is Serbia's third-largest city and has low living costs — around €500 a month is enough for everyday life. The airport is five kilometres from the city centre; Wizz Air flies from Memmingen, Dortmund, Karlsruhe and Berlin in around two hours. Free-time options include the fortress in the city centre, the thermal baths at Niška Banja, hiking in the Suva Planina mountains and, in August, the Nišville jazz festival.

On recognition

Serbia is not part of the European Union. For professional licensing in Germany, an individual equivalence assessment therefore applies. This is a well-established route that should be planned for from the very start — and supporting our students through exactly that is part of what we do.
