Press Release: Partnership with the Dr. Rachid Dental Practice in Marrakesh for Internships and Implantology Training

What has been agreed?

Medschool Experts is now working together with the dental practice of Dr. Rachid in Marrakesh. The practice focuses on implantology and general dentistry.

The cooperation covers two separate formats for two different audiences.

Internships for dentistry students

Dentistry students can complete an internship at the practice and experience everyday dental care outside Europe — from the initial examination and treatment planning through to assisting at the chair.

For future dentists, this is more than a stay abroad. Seeing early on how another healthcare system plans, informs patients and treats them gives you a sense of which decisions are clinical and which are simply a product of the system. Later on, in your own working life, that is worth more than it may sound at first.

Live implantology training for qualified dentists

The second format is aimed at dentists who are already licensed to practise: live training in implantology directly in the practice.

Implantology is a hands-on discipline. You do not learn it on a model alone, but through repetition under the guidance of an experienced clinician. That is exactly where the value of this format lies — access to a case volume and to guidance that simply would not come together in your own practice.

It should be understood as continuing professional education, not as a formal specialist qualification.

Free placement — exclusively for our clients

Placement for both formats is free of charge and remains reserved for clients of Medschool Experts. That is deliberate: anyone who takes their study path with us should also be able to draw on the same network for the next step — practical experience, specialisation, entering the profession.

Marrakesh as a location

With around one million inhabitants, Marrakesh is the fourth-largest city in Morocco and well connected: Marrakesh Menara Airport lies around six kilometres from the city centre, and Ryanair flies there from Berlin, Cologne, Memmingen and Frankfurt-Hahn, among others, in around three and a half hours. The cost of living is well below Western European levels.

Putting this in context

Morocco is not part of the European Union. Whether and to what extent a period completed there is credited in Germany is decided case by case by the responsible authority. We clarify this together with our clients before they set off — not afterwards.
