The Medical University of Gdańsk, in Polish Gdański Uniwersytet Medyczny, is a public medical university on the Baltic coast of Poland and was founded in 1945. In English it teaches a six-year M.D. programme in medicine, a five-and-a-half-year long-cycle Master of Pharmacy and a three-year Bachelor of Nursing. Dentistry is not taught in English there.

Clinical years run in the university’s own hospitals in Gdańsk. Poland is an EU member state, so the medical degree falls under Directive 2005/36/EC. What does a Polish EU degree mean for your plans after Gdańsk?
