The University of Banja Luka Faculty of Medicine launched its English-medium Medicine programme in the 2022/23 academic year and has grown rapidly since: the 2026/27 intake offers 100 places for international students, making it one of the larger English-medium medical intakes at a public university in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The faculty is part of the University of Banja Luka, the main public university of the Republika Srpska entity, founded in 1975. Banja Luka is the second-largest city in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the administrative centre of Republika Srpska.

The English-language programme at the University of Banja Luka Faculty of Medicine is open to international students via an online entrance exam in Biology and Chemistry (multiple-choice questions). Federally recognised dentist, founder and owner of Medschool Experts
Marcel Kloos founded the company while still studying abroad himself; since then more than 500 study places have been arranged. Originally from Stuttgart, he studied dentistry in Sofia from 2015 to 2021 and is a federally recognised dentist.
