Das Studium dauert sechs Jahre. Die vorklinischen Jahre eins und zwei umfassen Anatomie, Physiologie, Biochemie, Histologie und Embryologie sowie Slowakischkurse. Ab dem dritten Jahr folgt der klinische Abschnitt mit Innerer Medizin, Chirurgie, Pädiatrie, Gynäkologie, Neurologie und Psychiatrie am Universitätsklinikum Košice.
