- Veterinary Medicine: The six-year programme leads to the degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (MVDr.), recognised throughout the EU. Students cover pre-clinical sciences in the early years and move to clinical disciplines — internal medicine, surgery, and diagnostic imaging — with training at the university’s own clinics and farms.
Study conditions and campus life
The Veterinary Medicine programme takes six years to complete. The first three years cover the pre-clinical sciences, including animal anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, and microbiology. The final three years introduce clinical disciplines — internal medicine, surgery, reproduction, and diagnostic imaging — with practical training at the university’s own veterinary clinics and partner farms. Graduates are qualified to work as veterinarians throughout the EU.
