- Medicine: The Medicine programme leads to the Czech medical degree (MUDr.), recognised as an MD equivalent throughout the EU. The preclinical phase covers the natural-science foundations; the clinical phase adds patient-facing work and practical training in Prague’s university hospitals.
Study conditions and campus life
The Medicine programme takes six years to complete. The first three years cover the preclinical sciences, including anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, and pathology. The final three years are devoted to clinical rotations at university hospitals in Prague, covering the main medical specialties. Graduates receive a Czech medical degree (MUDr.) recognised throughout the EU.
