The programme runs for six years: five years of preclinical and clinical study, followed by a one-year internship at affiliated hospitals in the Osh region. The first years cover the basic biomedical sciences; clinical disciplines and practical rotations in hospital settings begin from year three. Teaching is conducted primarily in Russian and Kyrgyz.
